Etch Primer

Characteristics: dry quickly, it can be carried and stacked up in a few minutes after coating. Mainly as surface finishing agent of the nonferrous and ferrous metal substrate. It has etching effect and it can improve adhesion of the organic coating and metal surface. Good compatibility with most paints, good torch cutting and weldability.
Uses: use for shipping boats、bridges、oil tank、instruments etc., as pretreatment primer of zincification material、aluminum、steel、stainless steel substrate etc., play a linking paint role. Improve adhesion with antirust paint and metal, but it can’t replace the antirust paint.

Substrate treatment：Remove the surface oil stain、dust and zinc salt of zinc material and nonferrous metal, handle steel surface by abrasive blasting, remove rust、oxide skin, reached ISO Sa2.5 grade, or remove loose oxide skin by electric tools, reached St3 grade.

Applicable substrate: Unpainted steel、zinc material、aluminum material、stainless steel etc.
Applicable upper coatings: Different kinds of anticorrosive primers
